Insanity Runs In The Family

insanity
it runs in the family
apparently
like diabetes
though much more entertaining
most people are too senseless
to go
insane
they are far too
simple
for such a
complicated state of mind

I often think i may be heading that direction
but then i think
maybe i try too hard to get there
and fail
i have the qualities
to help me on my way though
and given time
i shall apply them
in my quest
to get to
the madhouse

i'll see you when i get there.
