Meet 'nice' girl
Buy a 'nice' house
Have active social life
Have children
Grandparents to have an active involvement in child's upbringing
Successful child
Retire early
Spend time playing golf and travelling

How it really happened...

Went to school
Couldn't really be bothered with it
Skipped college to become unemployed
Got a 'job' without any prospects
Met a tolerant and beautiful girl
Bought an adequate house
Skint constantly
Social life consists entirely of vodka, smarties and my own front room
Have a slight addiction to doing nothing of any consequence
Becoming more obsessed with the past
No sign of any kids (thank god)
Everybody died
Years away from retirement
Hate golf and travelling
