A Recession?

There's a recession looming you know....
yes that's right
a big bad hard hitting recession just around the corner
affecting us all
stock up the cupboards
prices will rise
jobs will be lost
chaos and poverty
on our doorsteps
yes I know this
my boss told me the other day
I'm glad he warned me

and I'm glad he didn't give me a pay rise either
that looming recession he told me about
obviously influencing him slightly
oh well at least now I can sleep at night
safe in the knowledge
that when the recession crucifies us all
I made no knowing contribution to it...

(Its a shame I can't say the same for my boss
who took home a five thousand pound christmas bonus last month...
I know this
my computer told me the other day......etc..)
