Cycle Speedway Racing

A cycle speedway track is essentially a shale oval (though we often tamper with the corners to make for more exciting racing) between 60 and 90 meters in length. Much like its motorised cousin cycle speedway races are competed by four riders over four laps from a standing start. A race is often over within a minute so a riders reactions and ability to sprint are his most valuable assets.
